Nicole Pasteur

Nicole Pasteur joined the ASU Office of Government Affairs and Community Relations in April 2025 and serves as the Director of Federal Relations. 

Nicole brings more than a decade of experience in community engagement, strategic communications, and government at multiple levels. Prior to joining ASU, Nicole served as a Director of Communications and Outreach at USAID. 

Her experience in the federal government also includes time on Capitol Hill, where she served as Communications Director and Senior Advisor to U.S. Congressman Greg Stanton during his first two terms. She was a Senior Policy advisor to Stanton during his tenure as Mayor of Phoenix. 

Nicole was raised in the Valley and is a graduate of the University of Arizona, where she earned both a B.A. in Sociology and a Master’s in Public Administration. She is based in Washington, D.C.
